Starting this year Cambria Heights HS & MS will be using Student Central, all PIAA sports registration and physical forms will be submitted online. Students and parents will need to use the information in the attached PDFs and video to create an account on Student Central this will allow them to register for Fall, Winter, and Spring sports.

Any student planning on participating in a sport needs to have a PIAA physical form completed by their own physician. Physical forms can be found on the athletics web page and must be uploaded to their Student Central account. There will be no sports physicals at the school this year.

Below are the attachments and a video link for parents about Student Central and online sports registration.  Please call the Athletic office if you need help creating an account.

    A Note From School Café

With the recent outbreak of COVID-19, the SchoolCafé Customer Support Team has seen an influx in refund requests as more parents are losing their income. In order to avoid the auto pay trigger, we have decided to globally suspend the auto pay feature for all SchoolCafé users. This feature will stay suspended until things return to normal.

We wish you all well. Please stay safe during this time.

    Thank you,

    SchoolCafé

Preventing the Flu: Good Health Habits Can Help Stop Germs

The single best way to prevent seasonal flu is to get vaccinated each year, but good health habits like covering your cough and washing your hands often can help stop the spread of germs and prevent respiratory illnesses like the flu. There also are flu antiviral drugs that can be used to treat and prevent the flu.

The following actions also help prevent the spread of Coronovirus.

    Coronavirus Disease Information Click Here

Corona Virus Information for Education Click Here

    1. Avoid close contact.

Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too.

    2. Stay home when you are sick.

If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness.

    3. Cover your mouth and nose.

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick.

    4. Clean your hands.

Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub.

    5. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.

Germs are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth.

    6. Practice other good health habits.

Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces at home, work or school, especially when someone is ill. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food.

    - Bus lists will not be printed in the local newspaper for this school year. Letters are being mailed home to parents and guardians. If you have any questions, please contact the transportation coordinator.
