Covid-19 Guideline for 2022-2023
- If an individual tests positive for Covid-19, regardless of vaccination status, it is recommended he or she stay home for at least five days following symptom onset. When asymptomatic or on day 6, whichever occurs later, the individual may return to school but should wear a mask through day 10.
- Individuals who are exposed to Covid-19 (close contacts) are no longer required to quarantine. It is recommended these individuals wear masks for 10 days following exposure and stay home if symptoms develop. Schools will no longer conduct contact tracing in 2022-2023.
- If a student tests positive for Covid-19 and is home from school, a parent or guardian should call the school office so the principal can alert the teachers.
- These guidelines were taken from PA-DOH guidance updated 8/18/2022
